Mary Anne Buffone
LATC, LCMT
Mary Anne received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. She served as a Certified Athletic Trainer working with high school athletes for more than ten years as well as in a traditional physical therapy clinic. During this time she was introduced to many modalities that ignited her interest in the body’s natural ability to heal itself through manual therapy, nutrition and energy psychology. Mary Anne has trained in sports nutrition, John Barnes Myofascial Release, Craniosacral therapy, shamanic practices and bioenergetics. She continues to explore avenues for healing for herself and her clients with a focus on allowing the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Susan Hopper
MSPT
Susan’s undergraduate work was done at California State University in Northridge, California, where in 1988 she earned her Bachelor degree in Health Science. She received the Masters of Science degree in physical therapy from Simmons College, Boston, MA in 1996. She is a licensed physical therapist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Susan has had extensive experience in a traditional physical therapy setting, including out-patient and home-care experience and nine years as the head physical therapist for the Massachusetts Hospital School /Day School Program. Susan’s treatment sessions combine the work of John Barnes Myofascial Release, Gary Douglas Access Consciousness, Reiki, and shamanic practices. She brings a wealth of experience, expertise and understanding to each treatment session, which allows clients to find lasting healing.
Alicia Calcagni
RN, RYT-500
Alicia Calcagni is a registered nurse who received their Bachelor of Science degree in Holistic Health at the University of Massachusetts in 2021, their Masters in nursing at Columbia University in 2023, and is currently pursuing their doctorate in Nurse-Midwifery at Columbia University.
Alicia is also an experienced vinyasa, iyengar, restorative yoga teacher, and Ayurvedic health coach with expertise in energy clearing techniques, embodied dance practices and John Barnes trained Myofascial Release. They’ve completed shamanic and western medicine trainings in South East Asia, India, and most recently Peru.
Alicia synthesizes their eclectic skill base to allow for an individual to experience a freeing of the fascia and create change in habituated patterns that perpetuate pain and illness.
They understand the importance of the mind/body connection, and strive to incorporate that wisdom into their work.
Amy Jianhua
LCMT
With over 20 years of experience as a massage therapist, Amy specializes in addressing the body as a whole, aiming to restore patients’ overall vitality and wellbeing.
With her therapeutic treatments, she provides:
Pain relief: with particular expertise in treating cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, sciatica, arthritis, back and neck pain, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and muscle tension; stress reduction: promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, and lowering stress levels; improved circulation: enhancing blood flow, which fosters healing and recovery; increased flexibility: improving range of motion and flexibility in joints and muscles; enhanced immune function: boosting the body's immune response by increasing lymphatic flow.
Amy had the honor of learning massage therapeutic techniques while studying with Master Jianrong Li at the Qing Ai Tang Health Center in Beijing. Amy also studied massage therapy at the Jupiter Academy in Boston. She holds a massage therapy license in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
